My name is Ben Kunze. Since 2018, I have been performing mold assessments and indoor air quality investigations, helping hundreds of families and business owners throughout the Midwest find hidden sources of mold in their homes and offices.

I am a Council Certified Microbial Consultant, a prestigious certification overseen by the American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC). Before my life as a mold investigator, I had the opportunity to obtain a B.S. in Forest Resource Management.

I founded Golden Environmental, named after my golden retriever Murphy after a family member became ill from mold sensitivities. To this day, finding hidden sources of mold that may negatively impact the family’s or occupants’ health is our greatest passion and pride.
